Snapshot Presentation

The deadline to send in the pdf is November 7th, 2011 to abstract@nanotech-montreux.com

We remind you some important information about poster sessions:

• Sessions: Posters will be presented in 4 poster sessions A, B(Monday), C and D(Tuesday). The schedule and poster number is available on the web page
  http://www.nanotech-montreux.com/poster.html
• A0 posters: Preferred size of posters is A0 - vertical (poster panels are 1 meter wide, we cannot guarantee good hanging conditions for non-standard posters).
• 2 minutes presentations: The snapshot poster presentations are strictly limited to 2 minutes duration. The presentations follow the poster numbers (i.e. A1, A2, A3....). These will be a stopwatch and optical sign indicating end of the your presentation time ;-)
• 4 slides maximum: The number of slides is limited to 4 slides MAX (including a title/authors slide). We recommend 3 slides. You can use the first slide as title/author + introduction slide.
• Slides files: There is no time to connect your laptop. You should send me your slides in pdf format (not ppt) till November 7th. We will assemble all slides of a session into one file (no possibilities to change the content in last minute).
• No movies: Because of time limit, we cannot include animations or movies in the presentations. However, if several people want to show movies, we can organize a special video session during the poster exhibition.

Snapshot presentations of posters are excellent opportunities for drawing attention to your work. However, successful snapshot presentations sessions of last years were only possible because of tight management of the time and transitions between the presenters.
